Get served by Padres players

Padres player Adrian Gonzalez and his wife Betsy are rolling out the red carpet for the Fourth Annual Celebrity Staff Night at Acqua Al 2 on Sunday, August 23. The Italian restaurant will be teeming with Padres players acting as chefs, servers, and bartenders for the night. All attendees will enjoy a five-course meal and fine wine, as well a gift bag, live music, and the opportunity to mingle with the players. The evening will also include a live auction featuring one-of-a-kind items, including a Gold Ball from the 2009 Home Run Derby.

The evening begins at 5:30 PM and will last until about 10:00 PM. Tickets are $195 each, with proceeds benefiting The Adrian & Betsy Gonzalez Foundation, which empowers underprivileged youth through athletics, education, and health.  Adrian Gonzalez, a San Diego native, has been first baseman for the Padres since 2006, and participated in the Major League Baseball All-Star Game this year.
