Don’t Forget About “Fuddy Meers”

By  |

fuddyPoint Loma Actors’ Workshop opens Fuddy Meers, a hilarious comedy written by Pulitzer Prize winning author David Lindsay Abaire (Rabbit Hole, Shrek The Musical), July 10 for eight performances only.

The play is a wild adventure profiling the character, Claire, who has a rare disease of losing her memory whenever she falls asleep. This play is an outrageously dark, yet very funny story as Claire and her family deal with this horribly debilitating condition. With the help of her husband and a little scrapbook, she rebuilds her life each day.

In Fuddy Meers, however, her day is not her usual stroll down amnesia lane. From Claire’s mother, a stroke victim, to a prison escapee with a puppet, to a half deaf limping man with a lisp, her wild encounters makes her life’s challenges seem quite normal.
