Kim Kardashian Song “Jam (Turn It Up)” Debut

By  |

Remember way back during New Years Eve when Kim Kardashian debuted her new song at Tao Nightclub in Las Vegas? She’s finally made “Jam (Turn It Up)” available for public consumption today on Ryan Seacrest’s morning radio show on KIIS FM in LA.

The 30-year-old reality TV star is ecstatic about her debut single. “This was just a fun new experience! I am so glad I went for it! And the proceeds to JAM are being donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital,” she excitedly tweeted to her fans last night.  So is her song really about supporting a good cause?

Maybe if that cause is partying.

The song is a techno beat, club bumpin’, party-hoppin’ extravaganza.  “On the floor I can’t stand still/And im goin to work like im paying my bills (bills)/My whole clicks on the floor (the floor)/We gon’ party, then party some more (some more)” her auto-tuned voice resounds.  It describes a normal Friday night for every club-goer and includes typical key phrases like, “Just got paid” and “Turn it up” to further elucidate the nightlife experience.

Fans will be able to watch Kim record the song in studio with The Dream on her reality show, Kourtney and Kim Take New York.  She admits she was ‘scared’ to start singing but mustered up the courage to finish the song.  The episode airs this Sunday at 10pm on the E! Channel.

Kim also talked to Seacrest about her new boy toy, Nets player Kris Humphries.  “It’s different with Kris because he lets me be me” she reveals on-air to Seacrest. “I’m happy, I’m really happy.”

What do you think? How well is Kim going to do in the record industry with these vocals? Are you going to buy her song, or her album if she were to release one?

Well, I’ve got to admit, this song is really, really catchy.
