Kanye West pulls another childish act

Many child psychology books say when children act out they are vying for attention. Kanye West could be used as a prime example.  His playground antic at the VMAs may have pissed off almost everyone who has heard about the incident, but it’s probably exactly what he wanted.

Even though Kanye held nominations for his song, “Love Lockdown” there was no Moon Man Award waiting for this MTV hopeful.  With no award or acceptance speech to give, the man still managed five minutes of airtime that has been buzzing everywhere since Taylor Swift was left on stage to recover from his verbal beatdown.

Twitter has been flying off the handle with words of disgust towards Kanye’s stunt and unending support for Taylor Swift.  It is not only everyday folks like you and me joining in on the discussion, but celebrities have given their opinions about the charade as well:

Pink: “My heart goes out to taylor swift.  She is a sweet and talented girl and deserved her moment.  She should know we all love her.  Kanye west is the biggest piece of shit on earth.  Quote me.”

Katy Perry: “F*%k U KANYE.  IT’S LIKE U STEPPED 0N A KITTEN.”

Martin Johnson (from Boys Like Girls): “Dear kanye west, you are a classless human being, unworthy of the stage he stands on. grow up.”

Kellie Pickler: “Tator Tot, you handled yourself with Grace. Kanye, go grow some f-ing balls bitch! don’t mess w/my lil sis!!********************************”

Joel Madden: “WOW Taylor Swift’s first VMA and she didn’t even get to ENJOY it. Kanye You were just a bully on that one man.”

Just when everyone starts to turn their interests to more time worthy activities, Kanye West appears in order to keep himself in the limelight.  Even though this pathetic little act will only be talked about for MAYBE a week, Kanye is probably sitting in his million dollar home, drinking a can of imported Pepsi he found somewhere costing $100 and rejoicing in the fact that his name is everywhere.  It’s just a matter of time before he fades out again, realizes it, then does another incredibly selfish performance that will be talked about until we get bored with him again.  It’s the life cycle of Kanye West’s fame.
