Johnny Depp and Disney are back again with the fourth installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides opens in theaters May 20th. On the brink of its release, star Johnny Depp has been hammering out ideas for possible Pirates 5 and 6 installments.

According to USA Today, Depp has proposed that he and his pirate friends will be riding the Disneyland Pirates themed ride and there will be camera filming them. “We’re actually going to shoot it on the ride,” Depp joked. ” Just us going around in a circle. Just close ups on everyone.”

Although Depp is being humorous, interesting enough this idea may have potential. The newest Pirates film premiered on Main Street at Disneyland, Anaheim, CA on Saturday, May 7th. Nearly 25,000 rabid fans came to see stars Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz, Jeffery Rush and many more. The premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides was the world’s first outdoor 3-D premiere where people paid $1,000 a ticket to attend. The premiere included wild salmons and outdoor seating in the New Orleans Square facing Tom Sawyer Island of Disneyland. Ticket proceeds were donated directly to the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. The film concluded with a fireworks show, adding magic to the premiere Disney is known for.

The film itself was the first time Johnny Depp and costar Penelope Cruz reunited since Blow, and their chemistry was instant. Depp told USA Today, “We just clicked.” “But she taught me the raunchiest Spanish,” Depp admits. “It was so foul.”

Serious talks of two more installments were discussed at the premiere, Kevin McNally, who plays Gibbs, Depp’s trusty first mate, noted that “There’s definitely a feeling that we’ve got some more to explore. I would say definitely one more.”

Will you all be hitting theaters May 20th to see the latest Pirates film?
