For anyone living in San Diego, Balboa Park offers the most enriching and intellectually stimulating sights in town. The park offers a colorful palate of art and inspiration including museums, gardens, restaurants, attractions, performing arts, recreation and trails.

Many San Diegians are unaware of a little secret in Balboa Park.  On Tuesdays of every month, three of the museums in Balboa Park are FREE.

On the first four Tuesdays of the Month, the park rotates through their multitude of museums and offers three to four different exhibits for FREE to residents of San Diego County, the Military and their families. In order to get in on this free deal, a valid I.D. must be presented during entry.

This is the setup for every Tuesday:

First Tuesday:

Reuben H. Fleet Science Center, Centro Cultural de la Raza, Model Railroad Museum, Natural History Museum

Second Tuesday:

Museum of Photographic Arts, Museum of San Diego History, Veterans’ Museum and Memorial Center

Third Tuesday:

San Diego Art Institute, Mingei International Museum, San Diego Museum of Art, San Diego Museum of Man, Japanese Friendship Garden

Fourth Tuesday:

San Diego Air & Space Museum, San Diego Automotive Museum, San Diego Hall of Champions, House of Pacific Relations International Cottages

If there happens to be a fifth Tuesday in the month, normal admission prices apply. Don’t miss the chance to exhibit some of the greatest museums in the country. For more information, times, or locations, jump to www.balboapark.org
