Sons of Anarchy – New season

By  |

Rev-up your engines ‘cause this season of the hit TV show series, Sons of Anarchy, is going to be filled with high drama. The show airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on FX.

Charlie Hunnam, who plays Jax in the series, told E! Online that Tara and Jax’s star-crossed romance will be stronger than it ever was before.  Jax is going to “concentrate on being a husband and father while attempting to find the most seamless way to extricate himself from the club.”

The Season 4 premiere manages to hit upon all those bases and more.  The show is heading back to its roots, picking up 14 months after the third-season finale.  The founding members of the club are back in Charming, CA, the town where the SAMCRO’s rule the roost, or so they say, but the arrival of a new sheriff might mess things around for the infamous motorcycle gang.

Eli Roosevelt (Prison Break’s Rockmond Dunbar) is not the old softy Wayne Unser was.  The new sheriff is going to do all that is in his power to usurp this band of misfits.  With Mayor Hale (Jeff Kober) preparing for a shady housing development, and a federal agent investigating in the comings-and-goings of the club, this season premiere definitely demonstrates that “SAMCRO is the scapegoat for everything that’s wrong in Charming.”

“All relationships will be challenged,” creator Kurt Sutter told E! Online.  “Opie and Jax, Bobby and Clay…All that stuff, we’re going to turn it on its head.”

“The Stakes are way higher” this season,” Sutter added.  “There’s a lot on the line.  A lot of the dynamics we’ve been building up for three seasons come to a head.”
