The annual Imperial Beach Sandcastle Competition is back! This weekend catch the 30th Annual Sandcastle Competition beginning August 6 and continuing through the weekend. The Boys and Girls Club in Imperial Beach will kick this summer event off on Friday with live music for the 21 and over crowd that will be making their way to the beaches. The rest of the weekend will be for all ages and will be full of music, food, crafts, and more!

That’s right, Hugh Laurie, otherwise known as the sarcastic and huffy Dr. House on Fox’s hit medical drama ‘House’, has a record deal. In a press conference on Monday, the British star announced that he’s signed with Warner Music Entertainment to release a New Orleans Blues album.
