During a concert in Nuremburg, Germany this past Thursday night, singer Pink was injured when an aerial stunt gone wrong flung her into a barricade at the front of the stage. The songstress was preparing to end her performance for the night with a rendition of her hit single So What when the harness that was intended to lift her into the air gave way due to complications with being strapped in improperly. “Oh (expletive), that hurt like a (expletive). Sorry,” she was heard saying moments after the collision.

The singer ended the concert early, getting onstage and apologizing to fans despite her injuries and exiting amidst raucous applause and cheers: “So I’m not sure but possibly I broke something,” she said. “I’m not sure if I’m going to be able to do the last song but thank you for coming. Thank you for always being supportive.”

As the ambulance rushed her to the hospital, Pink wrote on her Twitter account, apologizing again: “To all my nurnberg fans- I am so so so sorry to end the show that way. I am embarrassed and very sorry. I’m in ambulance now but I will b fine.” Miraculously, the singer didn’t acquire any serious injuries and the worst of it was a bruised and battered body. She tweeted twice more, saying: “Didn’t get clipped in2 harness correctly, drug me off stage, fell in2 barricade. Getting xrays. I hope it at least looked cool!!!” and “Nothing’s broken, no fluid in the lungs, just seriously sore.”

The concert was a stop on the artist’s Funhouse Summer Carnival Tour through Europe, Russia, and Scandinavia. A spokesman for the tour confirmed that Pink is fit to continue, and will finish her performances on The European Funhouse Summer Carnival tour. The tour wraps up in Kristiansand, Norway on July 25.
