Twitter Queen Lady Gaga vs. Justin Bieber

Pop star sensation Lady Gaga has hit another record milestone in her life, through her twitter account. The American pop singer-song writer has become a hit sensation over the years and has become well-recognized by her crazy sense of style in fashion that includes showing up at a music awards ceremony in a space pod.

She has gained five Grammy Awards and two Guinness World Records. The young singer has gained her fame through many of her album releases that include two studio albums, “The Fame” (2008) and “Born This Way” (2011) and two compilation albums “The Remix” (2010) and “The Singles” (2010).

This “Poker-Face” singer has now reached new heights in the internet world. On Saturday night she became the first Twitter user to reach over 10 million followers, according to the Fame Count site. She announced it on Twitter as well the next day on Sunday morning twittering, “”10MillionMonsters! I’m speechless, we did it! Its an illness how I love you. Leaving London smiling.”

Last July Lady Gaga was the first person to reach 10 million”Likes” on Facebook and through YouTube she gained even higher numbers last fall by gaining over a billion viewers. Hopefully she won’t get beat by the young teen pop star Justin Bieber who has been charging close behind with his 9.7 million viewers. Making him less than half a million viewers away from stealing her Twitter Queen crown. He has already stolen her Youtube crown…

Pirates of the Caribbean Johnny Depp Plays Pranks

The star of “Pirates of the Caribbean”, Johnny Depp, matches up with the star of “Vikki Cristina Barcelona”, Penelope Cruz,  in the upcoming new pirate film, “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.” The last time these two had paired up with each other for a film was back in 2001 for the film, “Blow.”

Having worked with Depp before, Cruz must have been aware that Depp has the fun tendency to play pranks on people, including having them “pass gas” when they sit down.  Cruz told USA Today, “He has a fart machine with a remote control. He puts it in your chair and then he goes ten meters away with the remote, presses the button so anyone who is sitting next to you is going to think it’s you.”

She respects and admires Depp for having the ability to stay true to himself both when his is on set and off set. Cruz admits that they often have a lot of fun making jokes with each other. Their film is expected to be released on May 18th in the UK and May 20th in the US.
