Kim gets rejected from the Met Gala

Finally, someone has said “No” to Kim Kardashian.  The Met Gala, which was held Monday night, welcomes some of the biggest stars in the world.  The media fame around Kardashian may have lead some to believe that she would be an automatic invite to this event, but turns out she missed the cut.  All guests must be approved by Vogue editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour and the style expert apparently issued a direct request that the reality TV celebrity stay off the guest list.

Wintour seems to have been ahered to without question as Kanye West, Kardashian’s new beau, showed up without her on his arm.  This contradicted an earlier tweet by Kardashian that read, “So excited to see all the fashion going on in New York tonight at the MET!” Unless she was planning on watching the styles from home, she seemed to intend on accompanying Kanye to the event.

An insider told a gossip website that, “Why would [Kardashian] be invited to the event? It is all the biggest stars in the world and Kim doesn’t fit that bill at all.”  Kim’s reps are saying that she was in LA on business, but few are deceived and many are applauding that the Kardashian’s get a reality check on their star status.

John Travola fights against sexual harassment charges

Since January Travolta has been in an ongoing battle with a masseur who claims that the Grease star made unwanted advances toward him during a massage, but recently a second masseur has come forward with the same accusations.  This had warranted irritation for Travolta who voiced through a friend that he is “sick and tired of fighting this insidious, ongoing whisper campaign that has gone on for years.”

Despite his 20 year marriage to Kelly Preston and their three children, there has been constant questioning of Travolta’s sexuality and the media attention of these lawsuits are only stoking the embers.  Travolta and his lawyer, Marty Singer, have promised to sue both the lawyer and his clients once the case has been thrown out of court.

To date the defense of Travolta claims to have evidence and witnesses that place him in New York City, on the other side of the country from where the first accuser says the harassment took place.  Meaning that the accuser John Doe #1 may have some explaining to do.
