I used to own a lovely condo with a great view of Sail Bay (North Mission Bay). Noisy drunken parties on the beach ruined my enjoyment of my condo and I eventually sold it at a loss. Would you like living on a quiet suburban street and having thousands of people descend on your front lawn with loud amplified music, fights, lots of peeing and pooping, and all of them drunk or drugged? Well, that's what's happening in PB. And that's why the properties values are down. All you can do there is party. You can't work at home any more and often you can't sleep at night. If you're older than 18, that's not acceptable. People who look at property down in that area should, by law, be shown videos of these events, of the Thunderboats and unlimited drag boats, and similar disruptions and disturbance of the peace.

Screw this event, the water was freaking muddy and just nasty. I ended up cutting my foot open on a broken glass bottle that someone sunk to the bottom of the water. REALLY! Who the hell sinks a broken bottle, at least if it were on the beach I could have avoided it.

I am a Home owner In PB. I originally voted to ban on the beach..Since then Home values have dropped significantly,(Young People Do not want to rent here anymore) Many businesses have folded shop. and my neighbors have parties every friggen weekend.
If I would have known this outcome I would have definately changed my vote!!
Sometimes you just have to go with the lesser of two evils!
