Hugh Hefner set to wed 24-year-old San Diegan, Crystal Harris

84-year-old Hugh Hefner is engaged to 24-year-old San Diegan Crystal Harris.  Harris was December 2009’s Playboy Playmate and is said to have attended La Jolla High and San Diego State University where she studied psychology.  This Christmas engagement for the couple of 2 years will make Harris, Hefner’s third wife and Hefner, Harris’ first husband.

Reese Witherspoon set to wed Jim Toth, LA Publicity Agent

The holidays have been happy for actress Reese Witherspoon and Publicity Agent Jim Toth as well.  According to OMG! from Yahoo, “The Oscar-winning actress, 34, began dating Toth, 40, around January 2010, shortly after her split from Jake Gyllenhaal. The duo went public with their romance in March during a romantic birthday weekend in Ojai, Calif.”

When they tie the knot, Toth will become a stepfather to Ava, 11, and Deacon, 7, children from Witherspoon and actor Ryan Phillippe who divorced in 2008 after seven years together.

LeAnn Rimes set to wed Eddie Cibrian, co-stars in 2009 Lifetime original movie

Another holiday engagement commits LeAnn Rimes, 28, and Eddie Cibrian, 37, to matrimony. According to People, “Rimes and Cibrian met while filming the Lifetime original movie Northern Lights at a time when they were both married to other people. The singer has talked openly about the difficulty of falling in love with Cibrian and ending her marriage to Dean Sheremet.”

Rimes divorice was made final in June and Cibrian’s divorice was made final in October and upon marriage Rimes will become a stepmother to Cibrian’s two children, Mason, 7, and Jake, 3.

Tripple Dipper: Natalie Portman with Oscar Acclaim, New Engagement and Pregnancy

French Benjamin Millepied, 32 and Natalie Portman, 29, are set to wed and welcome their baby after meeting on the set of the newly released ballet drama, “Black Swan”.  Millepied is a principal dancer and choreographer at the New York City Ballet and was hired to choreograph Portman’s dances.

Elton John has his first son, born Christmas Day

Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John was born Christmas Day to 62-year-old Elton John and “Benny and the Jets” singer and filmmaker David Furnish, 48, through a surrogate mother in California, charting in at 7lb 15oz and was 22 inches long.  In a joint statement, John and Furnish report: “Zachary is healthy and doing well. [We are] overwhelmed with happiness and joy at this very special moment.”

Mail Online states that: “They first attempted to adopt an HIV positive child from the Ukraine last year, but were rejected because of Sir Elton’s age and the fact that the country did not recognise civil marriages.”

Alanis Morissette welcomes baby boy on Christmas Day too

Canadian singer Alanis Morissette and rapper Mario ‘Souleye’ Treadway married May 22 in her Los Angeles home and welcomed a baby boy on Christmas Day naming him Ever Imre Morissette-Treadway.   Boy did the gifts this Christmas this year have weight!

Access Hollywood reports,“So happy to share with you that my man Souleye and I got married,” Alanis wrote on her Twitter and Facebook account following her nuptials. “We’re very excited to embark on this journey with each other.”
