Salsa Night at Spaghetteria Little Italy

TIME:  Friday, October 30, 2009 8pm to 12am

LOCATION: 1953 India Street , San Diego , CA 92101

INFO:  Friday, October 30th is the fist of many Salsa nights at Spaghetteria in Little Italy. Plenty of music will be pumping, including salsa, merengue, timba, bachata & more. The night starts at 8pm with FREE salsa lesson by Vidal Cordova of Salsa Casino & Rueda San Diego. There is no cover for this event.

COMEDY

National Comedy Club Spooktacular

TIME:  Friday, October 30, 2009 7:30pm & 9:45pm
LOCATION: National Comedy Theater – San Diego 3717 India St. • San Diego, CA

INFO:  Every Halloween season, the National Comedy Theater proudly presents what is commonly referred to as “our dumbest show of the year!” The show features scenes and games that they’ve never done before, creepy themes to all of the suggestions, death defying sketches. Get your tickets here.

David Sedaris presented by ArtPower

TIME: Friday, October 30th, 2009 @ 8pm

LOCATION:  Balboa Theater, 868 Fourth Ave. San Diego, CA 92101.

INFO:  David Sedaris delivers razor-sharp satire about everyday life gets you rolling with gut-busting giggles. You won’t want to miss him for anything. Sedaris was named Time magazine’s 2001 Humorist of the Year after his 1998 hit “SantaLand Diaries.” He is also a regular on NPR’s “Morning Edition” and other public radio shows. Tickets range from $32 to $50.

Haunted San Diego Ghost Tours in Old Town

TIME: Friday October 30, 2009 6:30pm and  8:30pm

LOCATION:  Best Western Hacienda Hotel Old Town, 4041 Hareny St.

INFO:  Haunted San Diego is a History Tour loosely based on documented ghost stories. See the fascinating places where these stories actually took place and hear the tales of who lived there, died there and who still haunts there today. With tongue in cheek laughs, you’ll witness a “haunted artifact” and even see “proof” that ghosts Exist.Be transported in spooky style aboard The Ghost Bus. Scary Story Walk

TIME: Friday, October 30th, 2009 @ 7pm

LOCATION: Escondido Public Library, 239 S. Kalmia St. Escondido, CA 92025.

INFO: Wander through the streets of Old Escondido while listening to spooky stories of undead spirits who refuse to move on, chilling tales of malevolent spectres and dreadful monsters that will keep you from having a good night’s sleep.
