San Diego weather – weekly surf and snow report

By  |

It’s going to be a cold, wet week based on San Diego standards. Showers today give way to partly cloudy conditions all week, with more rain expected Saturday. Temperatures are not likely to get out of the 60s, so plan on it being a week for mostly indoor activities. Local surf conditions will be mild and the cooler temperatures will provide a great backdrop for So Cal skiing and riding.

Water Temperature: 57 – 59

Not the best weekend to go surfing. Thursday and Friday are the best weekday options, with Sunday being the day to hit the biggest surf of the week.

Big Bear Conditions

Although it may be tempting to go out to the snow after watching the Olympics, reports predict an up and down week ahead. With light showers and possible thunderstorms early in the week, there is hope for dry warmer weather as we enter the end of the work week. Crowds are smaller during the middle of the week so best time to go is then. Make sure to check out the weather before heading up to the slopes!
