Forecast: Clear skies but keep your sweater handy

By  |

Expect a week of clear skies and dry weather to descend upon the region, although slightly cooler temperatures don’t quite eliminate the need to keep a sweater handy. Scattered clouds will compete with the sun during the middle portion of the week, but they are not expected to bring any wet weather with them. The cooler temperatures shouldn’t deter residents from venturing outside and partaking in outdoor activities.

It will be the perfect week to get outside and stay active. Take a walk through Balboa Park or around Mission Bay. Torrey Pines is also great for hiking this time of year. The weather will be nice enough to get outside without making you sweaty and miserable.

Surf Conditions

Water Temperature: 60 – 58

The cool temperatures likely won’t keep the crowds away from the beaches. Waves ranging in size from gentle to moderate will appeal to beginners and novices alike. Make sure to hit the beaches early to avoid the inevitable congestion during the midday hours.
