Looking for what to do this Saturday? As usual, San Diego is bustling with exciting events for everyone. Here are our picks for the best of San Diego Entertainment.

FESTIVALS

KICK GAS FESTIVAL

TIME: Saturday OCT 24, 11:00 AM- 9:00 PM

LOCATION: Qualcomm Stadium

INFO: The 2nd Annual Kick Gas Festival brings eco-friendly fun to San Diego.  This event is all about going green and is infused with music and live entertainment. There is so much stuff to do from going on a skate park, farmers market, auto zone, and watching over 20 bands play including main act Matisyahu.  To check out more information visit their website @ www.kickgasfestival.com. BOULEVARD BOO! PARADE & CARNIVAL

TIME: Sat OCT 24, 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM

LOCATION: Start: 59^th Street, Down El Cajon Blvd.
End: Rolando Blvd., College Area

INFO: The BOO! Parade has spooky floats, classic cars, horses, marching band, and much more. The event tarts at 59th Street and goes all the way to Rolando Boulevard. At the end of the parade, there will be a carnival at Clay Park (noon-6pm) which includes rides, games, and a costume contest. For more information visit their website.

ENTERTAINMENT

BOYS LIKE GIRLS CONCERT

TIME: Saturday OCT 24, 2009, 6:00 PM

LOCATION: Soma, 3350 Sports Arena Boulevard, San Diego, CA 92110

INFO: Opening acts include Cobra Starship, the Maine, a Rocket to the Moon, and Versa Emerge.  Tickets are on sale for $25 a person and must be purchased on their website. Get there early to get close to the front since there are no seats.

WORLD JOUST TOURNAMENT

TIME: Friday- Sunday, OCT 23-25, 11:00 AM- 3 PM

LOCATION: Poway Rodeo Grounds, 14336 Tierra Bonita Road, Poway, CA 92064

INFO: Do you love Medieval Times?  Well the World Joust Tournament is just that! This Tournament of the Phoenix and Festival of History includes jousting matches with an array of entertainment, from folk music to displays of historical arts, and crafts.  There is even stuff for children to do such as storytelling and a costume contest.  The jousting performances begin on Saturday and Sunday at noon and 4:30pm. SPORTS

NATIONAL SCHOLASTIC SURFING ASSOCIATION OPEN SEASON

TIME: Saturday, OCT 24, 2009 7:00 AM

LOCATION: Oceanside Harbor, Oceanside, San Diego, California 92054

INFO: NSSA hosts the surfing competition north of the Oceanside pier. The event is free for anyone who wants to come and watch. For more information visit their website.

HEALTH

LIVING HEALTHY EXPO

LOCATION: San Diego Convention Center, 111 W Harbor Dr., San Diego, California 92101

INFO: Expand your knowledge on an alternative approach to living healthy. At this convention you will receive nutritional guidance; watch interactive yoga, Pilates, fitness demonstrations; and learn how to transform your environment to go green.
