Your favorite Disney movies don’t have to be just a fairytale anymore, because this week Disney on Ice is bringing you “Worlds of Fantasy.” That’s right, your favorite Disney characters are coming to you, San Diego. The fun begins Wednesday, January 27th and continues until Sunday, January 31st.

San Diego Sports Arena, San Diego’s premier home of entertainment, invites you to “Rev up for non-stop fun” with four of your favorite Disney stories. You’ll be thrilled as Disney/Pixar’s CARS race across the ice, enchanted as you dive into The Little Mermaid’s undersea kingdom, and amazed as you witness the “Circle of Life” with Simba and Rafiki from The Lion King. And of course, you’ll become mystified with Pixie dust as you venture with Tinker Bell and her fairy friends. With the incredible skating and choreography, special effects, beloved characters and excited fans, this is definitely a fun family experience that you won’t want to miss.

Disney on Ice, produced by Feld Entertainment, began in 1981. Since then Disney on Ice has performed all over the world, including Europe and Australia, and even non-traditional skating regions like South America, the Middle East and Asia. “Celebrations,” last year’s Disney on Ice, featured characters from eighteen Disney films to celebrate a very merry unbirthday with Alice. Mickey and Minnie were there of course, along with Princess Tiana, the newest Disney princess from The Princess and the Frog. So you can expect a wide array of characters and surprises with this year’s show!

Bring your family, bring your friends! Wednesday is family discount night, and tickets are 50% off (excluding VIP and Front Row seats). Gather a group of ten or more and tickets are as low as $10.50. Children under the age of two are free. To purchase tickets or check show times, click here.

It all starts at 7:30pm. Doors open an hour before the show starts so be sure to get there early.
