Apple announces media event for highly anticipated iPhone 7

By  |

We have been hearing about the iPhone 7 since the iPhone 6 came out. With teasers of new features, updated storage, and a sleeker design, we have all been awaiting the release of the newest Apple creation. It looks like we are about to finally put the rumors to rest because Apple has finally released media invites to the launch of the new iPhone 7.

The event will be held at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco on Wednesday, September 7th.  Apple will unveil its newest phone and discuss the newest features and updated design. The event could also be the host to discuss the newest MacBooks and a second generation Apple Watch.

Pre orders for the phone will begin a couple days after the media launch, and not long after that, Apple lovers will start lining up to get their hands on the newest Apple device in stores.

Rumors for the past year have surfaced that the new phone will no longer have a headphone jack, and that all headphones going forward will need to be wireless. Other rumors include a waterproof phone, discarding the home button, and better lenses and imaging for the camera.

Many people are hoping for better battery life, smaller devices, new colors, and higher storage for the new phone, but we are guessing fans will be happy either way with any new features Apple decided to integrate (but maybe not the headphone jack…).

Along with the newest phone, many people are awaiting the newest iOS 10 software update for all Apple phones. The newest updates could range from different internal designs for the phones to new features and apps.

Starting on September 7th, we will all start to really see what the anticipated iPhone 7 will feature, and most importantly when we can get our hands on one.
