Can’t believe it’s already the 2nd weekend of January? Time flies when you’re having fun. Let’s pack your January with a lot of events to start the year off right. Now that New Year’s is in the dust let’s focus on how amazing the city we live in is and all the FUN events happening this weekend. If you’re looking to do something a little different we have you covered for a little staycation.

Come check out this intimate evening of music and skateboarding at the HardRockSD. Slightly Stoopid has joined forces with Danny Way to raise money for The Sheckler Foundation and GrindForLifeOrg. All proceeds will be going to help families who are being affected by pediatric cancer.

RENT 20TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR: AT BROADWAY SAN DIEGO

January 14th at  2:00pm or 7:30pm showing (run time about 2 hours)

In 1996, an original rock musical by a little-known composer opened on Broadway… and forever changed the landscape of American theatre. Two decades later, Jonathan Larson’s RENT continues to speak loudly and defiantly to audiences across generations and all over the world and they’re finally back in San Diego with performances starting January 10th-15th.

Rating: RENT is a story which addresses adult themes and controversial issues. Parental guidance is suggested. It is not recommended for children under 13.

MONSTER ENERGY SUPERCROSS AT PETCO PARK

January 14th Main Event: 6:30pm
Location: PETCO PARK

Guess who’s back, back again? Round 2 of the Monster Energy Supercross Championship at Petco Park will play host to the fourth annual Military Appreciation Race. The fiercest competitors will unite on January 14th to honor our military, as well as raise money in a special charity auction. Stay tuned for more details! So much fun for kids and adults! Grab the family and have some fun while honoring our military.
