Dave Matthews Band will be rocking out on Saturday, September 12 at Cricket Wireless Amphitheater. The last time the band was in San Diego was soon after receiving news that their band mate, saxophonist LeRoi Moore, died after complications with injuries he sustained in an ATV accident on June 30, 2008. Instead of canceling their shows, they honored him by continuing with their tour last year. Now they’re back again and will be playing with Switchfoot in Chula Vista. The concert begins at 7 p.m.

Busy on September 12? Then catch Blink 182 and Weezer at Cricket Wireless on Wednesday, September 16 at 6:30 p.m. This concert will be a real treat because fans will not only see Blink 182 and Weezer, but also Taking Back Sunday and Asher Roth.

Blink 182 originally formed in Poway, CA. After a long hiatus which started back in 2005, the band made the official announcement in February 2009 – they’re back!

On their website they stated, “To put it simply, we’re back. We mean, really back. Picking up where we left off and then some. In the studio writing and recording a new album.” The best concerts are the ones in the hometowns. Cricket Wireless is located at 2050 Entertainment Cir in Chula Vista.
