Philanthro, a nonprofit comprised of young professionals focused on creating opportunities for peers to give back, will host an event at the new Adams Avenue hot-spot, The Rabbit Hole.

The event is Wednesday Jan. 21st 6-8PM. Philanthro will be collecting toiletry items (small shampoos, soaps, hygiene products) for Becky’s House, however donations of all types are appreciated. Becky’s House empowers more than 6,000 women, children, and families each year to escape domestic violence and overcome homelessness.

This event is a great opportunity to help a local organization doing good in the community while enjoying great food and drinks from The Rabbit Hole. The Rabbit Hole is brought to you by the owners of other popular bars including The Local (in downtown and PB) and Wonderland (in Ocean Beach). The comfort food menu includes burgers, nachos, sloppy Joe’s and a few types of wings to pair with over 20 taps of beer and cocktails.

Interested in getting involved in Philanthro?  A dynamic team of young professionals who run the organization will be there to share the story behind Philanthro.

Fitting with Philanthro’s tradition of helping young professionals get involved with philanthropy, photographer Roman Castro will be onsite to shoot professional headshots for anyone interested.

San Diego resident for over 10 years, I now call this beautiful city home. Originally from the Bay Area, I'm a California girl at heart. I love the outdoors, fitness, food, and a good craft beer (from San Diego of course).
