The end of summer is approaching fast, and most of us are scrambling around trying to catch the last rays of sunshine before the not-so-treacherous San Diego Winter arrives. Luckily for us San Diegans, our winter is just slightly cooler summer, but we still want to hold on to those summer feelings. Yet before we embark the long, colder months ahead, we all have one last hurrah to celebrate before we say ado to the summer.

Labor Day weekend is our last chance to really celebrate summer, and for those who don’t want to travel too far for the fun and games – San Diego is the perfect hotspot for those who are looking for a fun-filled weekend while staying close to home.  With so much to do with music festivals, art openings, good eats, and the exciting nightlife that only America’s Finest City can offer – be sure you make this Labor Day weekend one of the most memorable.

US Sand Sculpting Challenge & Dimensional Art Exposition

Festival of Sail

The largest Tall Ship festival on the West Coast is back this Labor Day weekend at the Maritime Museum of San Diego.
