Since its founding, 6 Degrees has granted seven wishes to local wish kids through event fundraising. Last year’s anniversary event generated enough donations to grant two wishes, including one to wish kid Taylor Rempe, an 8 year old battling acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

“My one true wish was to take my family on a Disney Cruise to Alaska,” said Kilby. “Thanks to the support of 6 Degrees members and Make-A-Wish San Diego my wish came true!”

San Diego resident for over 10 years, I now call this beautiful city home. Originally from the Bay Area, I'm a California girl at heart. I love the outdoors, fitness, food, and a good craft beer (from San Diego of course).
