4th of July in San Diego: Where to watch the fireworks
Fourth of July is just around the corner which means planning a day filled with activities, eating, dancing, and of course, watching fireworks. San Diego is among the best places to enjoy July 4th and no matter where you are in the city, chances are, there is a fireworks show nearby. During this holiday, San Diego is host to spectacular parades, picnicking at the beach, all day event-filled celebrations, and the most amazing fireworks displays you’ll ever see. The Entertainer has compiled a list of some of the best 4th celebrations around San Diego.

Located along the San Diego Bay, this fireworks show is the largest on the West Coast! The show can be seen from Shelter Island, Harbor Island, North Embarcadero, Seaport Village/South Embarcadero, and the Coronado Ferry Landing. After wrapping up your Fourth of July activities, head to one of those 5 locations to see a show of a lifetime.
Every year SeaWorld lights up the sky with a stunning fireworks show. This show can not only be seen from SeaWorld itself, but the surrounding areas as well. Starting at 9:30 p.m. you won’t want to miss this remarkable show!
The best thing about having a fireworks display right off of the OB Pier, is that you can you can stay in the same location all day long. Spend the day by the ocean, picnicking, and playing in the sand, then huddle up to watch the fireworks show light up the sky!
Coronado will be hosting an entire day of July 4th events followed by a magnificent fireworks show. Watch the fireworks burst over Glorietta Bay from the golf course with all of your friends and family.
After a day of activities, The Spirit of the Forth will be hosting a “Sky Concert” at 9 p.m.. Located in Northern San Diego, you can participate in MiniGolf, Pet Contests, Parades, and more by day, and an extravagant fireworks show by night.
