Tuesdays are days in which San Diegans and tourists alike can appreciate the influence that our neighbor across the border has had on the culinary culture of San Diego.

But Taco Tuesday wouldn’t be nearly as eventful if it wasn’t cheap. How often can stuff your belly with delicious tacos and drinks for under $10? Only once a week – that is why below we have compiled a list for you to take advantage of living in San Diego and enjoy the best Taco Tuesday this nation has to offer.

La Puerta

La Puerta serves savory carne asada, carnitas, pollo, cochinita, pastor-style pork or ranchero shrimp for only $2 each. If you want something different this Tuesday, La Puerta also serves “T.J. style” hot dogs for $2 each. Enjoy a Downtown atmosphere without having to break your piggy bank this Tuesday at La Puerta.

Old Town Cafe Coyote

Old Town’s legendary Cafe Coyote is as close to Mexico as you can get, without having to cross the border…you can tell by their tacos. Cafe Coyote has a great taco selection and drink specials every Tuesday.
