Easter Inspired Cocktail Recipe
Spring is in the air in San Diego, and while the official start to the new season isn’t until March 20th, we’re gearing up for great events, holidays, and most importantly great weather here in San Diego.
As we shared last week, Marina Kitchen is hosting an affordable and family friendly brunch on Easter Sunday. If you want to get in the holiday spirit a little early, they’ve been kind enough to share a cocktail recipe that you can enjoy at home. The best part is, you can make it non-alcoholic by removing the spirits and your kids can enjoy the fun too!
1 oz vodka
1 oz kahlua
Directions: Pour vodka and kahlua into glass with ice. Fill with equal parts cola and cream. Top with whipped cream and garnish with a Peep.
Marina Kitchen’s all-you-can-eat Easter buffet is being served Sunday, March 31, from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm. The buffet features an array of fresh salads and homemade soup made from scratch, local seasonal vegetables and sides, a carving station with honey roasted ham and leg of lamb, and a dessert station featuring a selection of holiday desserts. Executive Chef Aron Schwartz has expertly prepared each mouthwatering course with Marina Kitchen’s “modern comfort” twist in mind.
Marina Kitchen is the epicenter of a new food and beverage experience at the San Diego Marriott Marquis and Marina. With panoramic views of the bay from its indoor and outdoor dining space, focus on serving “modern comfort food” using fresh, seasonally available ingredients, and wine program with a distinct West-coast orientation, Marina Kitchen is quintessential Southern California dining at its best. Marina Kitchen’s contemporary design, lounge atmosphere, and cozy and private seating arrangements make it the perfect place for guests to dine, work, gather with groups, and play.
