Experience Acqua Al 2’s uncorked wine tasting tonight

Acqua Al 2 Uncorked is an entertaining and educational wine class and tasting series that showcases fine Italian wines and spirits. This monthly series occurs on the first Wednesday of every month and provides a great opportunity to enjoy fine Italian wines that are expertly paired with Italian appetizers.

During the tasting Martin Gonzalez, Executive Chef and owner, will be on hand to expertly guide you throughout the evening. Each month, the tasting focuses on a special theme. The next tasting in the Uncorked Series is tonight from 6:30 to 8pm. The focus will be on Italian chardonnays.

The Simply Chardonnay tasting will feature four tastes of wines with accompanying appetizers. The featured wines will be:

Maddalena Vineyard, Chardonnay 2007, Monterrey
Served with Capesante al Limone e Caperi
(Seared Scallops in a Lemon Burre Blanc)

Albert Bichot, Bourgogne Chardonnay Villes Vignes 2007, Burgandy
Served with Spaghetti al Vino Bianco e Gamberi
(Spaghetti and Shrimp in a White Wine Sauce)

Eberle, Chardonnay 2007, Paso Robles
Served with Petto di Pollo al Curry e Mela Verde
(Chicken breast in a curry and green apple sauce)

10 Knots, Edna Valley Chardonnay 2007
Served with Pesce Bianco allo Zafferanco e Vongole
(Halibut in a Saffron and Clams Reduction)

If you are unable to attend this enjoyable evening, the next tasting in the series will be October 7 when the pink wines of Italy will be explored.
