You might remember Bucky from Season 5 of American Idol or from his chart topping self titled debut country album. Shwayze, comprised of Cisco Adler and Aaron Smith (a.k.a Shwayze) they first made waves with the single off their debut self title album Shwayze with “Buzzin’” in 2008. After a stop in San Diego for their “Get U Home” tour at the House of Blues a few months ago, we were amazed. We checked in with the artists on their continued tour and recently released second album Let It Beat, available now.

Zee Avi is one of those artist’s that comes along and you can not denie her unique difference, and approach to music. Born in Borneo, Avi has become one of the musicians whose songs are deeply reverent and soulful. Playing at last weeks Street Scene for the first time, we caught up with Avi to talk about many things. From her excitement on being booked for the event, and how she has made friends in the music industry.
We also discussed the use of the internet medium Avi used in order to make her musical career blossom into the one she has now.
