Will Ferrell is coming back in a highly-anticipated sequel to one of the most beloved and most quotable comedies of all time “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.” Universal and Montecito Pictures have just announced a “Twins” sequel in the making, tentatively titled “Triplets,” that will reunite Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito as the unlikely pair of twin brothers.
This weekend we have a lot of fun and exciting events to attend. Whiskeys of the World Pairing Dinner at the Westgate Hotel’s Fontainbeau Room, San Diego Brew & Crew at Mission Bay Park’s Ski Beach, Third Annual Mission Valley Craft Beer and Food Festiva at the Handlery Hotel & Resort, Easter Feast for Our City’s Homeless at the San Diego Rescue Mission, the San Diego Team Hope Walk on Sunday at Balboa Park, and the Melisa & Kaye’s Memorial 5K Walk and Fun Run.
Twilight ‘Breaking Dawn 2′ Trailer was recently released. This trailer will serve as the first teaser to quench Twilight fans’ thirst for what will be the last part of the trilogy. The new teaser is a reminder to those of the young adult age group why they became so addicted to the vampire saga. It has a dark teenage love that has incited riots of crazed Twilight faithfuls.
Stephenie Meyer released another bestseller, “The Host.” Said to hit theaters March 29, 2013 the cast will consist of Saorise Ronan (Atonement, The Lovely Bones) as Mel and Jake Abel (I Am Number 4, The Lovely Bones) and Max Irons (Red Riding Hood) as her two love interests.
Watching “The Hunger Games” starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth was made all the more enjoyable through Ultrastar Cinemas magic of a motion simulator deemed the D-BOX. The DBOX made really good use of a hallucinatory scene in “The Hunger Games,” rocking you side to side as Katniss stumbled through the woods.
“The Hunger Games” made its official release on midnight racking in $19.7 million. “The Hunger Games” has already broken the record for the biggest non-sequel midnight opening, and is the seventh biggest opening of all time, trailing only behind movies from the Harry Potter and Twilight series
“The Hunger Games” is not a game. In reality, it’s a story about survival. Starring Jennifer Lawrence at Katniss Everdeen, Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark and Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne. Director Gary Ross did the movie justice by bringing the fantasy to life, as real of a story as it can be. It’s both grand and personal.

“21 Jump Street,” starring Channing Tatum and Johan Hill, premiers this Friday, March 16. Tatum and Hill star as former classmates turned undercover police officers Jenko (Tatum) and Schmidt (Hill) who are transferred to the secret Jump Street unit, where they are assigned to go undercover at a local high school to bring down a drug ring selling a new hallucinogenic
Katy Butler started a petition on Change.org urging the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) to soften the current R-rating of “Bully,” an anti-bullying documentary, to a PG-13 rating,. Big names who have also rallied include New Orleans NFL Quarterback Drew Brees, Rev. Jesse Jackson, and Ellen DeGeneres, who invited Katy Butler onto her daytime talk show.
