‘Jersey Shore’s Snooki faces disorderly conduct charges
“Jersey Shore” season 2 has just begun for the us, but for Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, drama from the show is well into its third season. Rumor has it she has been kicked off the filming of season three after the 22-year-old Marlboro, NY native was arrested Friday, July 30. She was arrested after police attempted to escort her off of Jersey’s Fremont Avenue beach where MTV camera crews were filming.
Marijuana bust in North County
While the legalization of marijuana is under debate and will be up for a vote on the November ballot, a North County San Diego grove is undergoing investigation after Narcotics Task Force agents, led by the Drug Enforcement Administration, raided 350 marijuana plants early last Wednesday.
Oceanside plane crash under investigation
A plane crashed Tuesday in San Diego after leaving the Oceanside Municipal Airport. A retired man lost his life. Cecil Edward Judd, 83, was the sole occupant of the plane and died on the scene as the aircraft burst into flames.
