The Festival celebrates the unique and colorful culture of the historic Old Town, allowing patrons to sift through its histories through means of exquisite art pieces.

Fine art paintings, ranging from oil to watercolor, will be one of the prominent types of art displayed at the Festival. Notable painters that have contributed in the past include Olga Alexandrova, who uses impressionism to convey messages within her pieces, and Agnes Copeland, who uses bright, whimsical colors to convey a feeling of happiness and peace within her artwork. The rows upon rows of paintings with various types of subject matter and meaning will fulfill anyone’s love for paint media.

Along with paintings, bold sculpture, expressive photography, stunning glass, and unique jewelry will be among the many highlights to view throughout the Festival. These types of media will provide an array of artistic expression that will overcome their audiences with beauty, meaning, and mystery. Don’t waste this opportunity to lose yourself in the artistic culture of Old Town!

An added elegance to the event is the Wine Tasting offered to the 21+ patrons of the festival. The sampling provides six tastings of different wines from a choice of over forty selections. The cost is $20, and purchasing tickets for this delightful experience is available online at www.oldtownartfestival.com/wine. Located on the lawn of Old Town San Diego Historic Park, enjoy the sweet smells of the garden while sipping a delicious, fruity wine.
