The Coronado Playhouse is throwing a party – a Wild Party – and everyone is invited!

The setting is New York, and the year is 1928. Queenie and Burrs, a vaudeville dancer and a vaudeville clown, have reached a tumultuous point in their three year relationship. Eager for something – anything – to restore the spark to their once red-hot romance, Queenie hatches a plan to throw a party to end all parties.

The guest list is a mixed bag of characters all living on the edge and things seem to going quite well, until Queenie’s best friend and rival Kate shows up with the handsome and mysterious Mr. Black. As the party rages on and sparks begin to fly between Queenie and Black, tension mounts and tempers flare. The situation soon spins out of control and the explosive conclusion will have you on the edge of your seat and leave you breathless!

Anchored by a pulsating jazz score that won Andrew Lippa the 2000 Drama Desk Award for Best Music, The Wild Party also won the Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Off-Broadway Musical of the 2000 season.
