Anyone have any special plans for a romantic weekend for Valentines Day? What better way to enjoy it than taking your sweetheart to the movies. Snuggle up and laugh together in front of a romantic comedy. There are plenty to choose from for this week’s releases. To help you decide we have provided reviews of this week’s romantic films.

Love can be a powerful and explosive element in one’s life. “Endless Love”, an adaptation of Scott Spencer’s novel, shows the dangerous course of events that happens when two young lovers from opposite lifestyles collide and fall in love.

Recently graduated from high school, Jade Butterfield (Gabriella Wilde), a young girl raised in a life of privilege and comfort finds her soul awakened when she comes across David Elliot (Alex Pettyfer), a young man who has lived a troubled life in the working class. The two connect and their romance soon ignites into a fiery passion. Through David, Jade experiences the beauties of life outside of her sheltered lifestyle.

However, their bond becomes strained when obstacles such as Jade’s parents, who worry about her possible future with David, try to break them apart. Will their love hold?

Another film adaptation this weekend is “Winter’s Tale”. Based on the novel, written by Mark Helprin, the story about a thief (Colin Farrell) who falls in love with the terminally ill Beverly (Jessica Brown Findlay), an occupant of the home he tried to steal from.

Sadly, the two lovers face challenges along the way that threaten their union. Peter, a master thief, is hunted by his former mentor, Pearly Soames (Russell Crowe), a man who literally has a demonic nature.

As Peter struggles to fight off Pearly, he also must find a way to save the woman he loves.

About Last NightAbout Last Night

Ready for some love and laughter? This romantic comedy is the perfect fit.

“About Last Night” is a modern adaptation of David Mamet’s play “Sexual Perversity”. The story takes place in Chicago and centers on two young couples (Kevin Hart, Michael Ealy, Regina Hall, and Joy Bryant) who struggle to keep their relationships together.

Can they find a deeper meaning of love or will there just be lust?
