Forget Susan Boyle, Jackie Evancho has arrived. The 10-year-old singing sensation from Pittsburgh learned that she advanced into the semi-finals of this season’s America’s Got Talent earlier this week, and she’s been on a whirlwind ever since.

On August 10, Evancho stunned judges and viewers when she performed “O Mio Babbino Caro” by Giacomo Puccini. The aria is also on her debut album called Prelude to a Dream that hit the stands on Nov.1, 2009.

Check out her recent performance:

The talented blonde-haired gal received a standing ovation and was awarded a trip to Universal Studios in Florida for receiving the most fan votes from the submissions to the show from YouTube. She was then voted into the semifinals by viewers.

One of three children, she says she began singing when she was 8 years old after watching the movie Phantom of the Opera. She quickly became enamored with singing and thanks to her mother, Lisa, she started competing in local talent contests. According to various reports, she has appeared at numerous charity events and her singing is referred to as “Classical Crossover.”

She can also be heard singing the more traditional National Anthem below:

Stay tuned to see if she wins the $1 million prize.
